MonoShield Equine Linseed 1kg

MonoShield Equine Linseed is a dietetic complementary feedingstuff for equines,  developed by Mayo Healthcare in cooperation with the Microbiology Department of the National University of Ireland (NUIG).

This innovative technology, named ROS (reactive oxygen species) by Professor Vincent O’Flaherty, is safeguarded by a series of patent applications to protect its uniqueness. After conducting pH trials in 2018 at an Austrian agricultural college, which revealed a substantial increase in stomach pH over a 24-hour period compared to a control group when fed once daily, we investigated its impact on equines. As a result, we have formulated a Dietetic Complementary Equine Feed with a PARNUT claim. For best results, MonoShield Equine should be mixed with a yeast-free feed and fed once daily.

Usage Information:
Use daily for periods of up to 8 weeks. Take at least 1 day break before deciding to continue feeding for a further 8 week cycle.
1.87g to be given per Kg of complete feed, up to a maximum of 30g for horses consuming 16kg or more of complete feed per day. Each 1.87g contains 62mg Vitamin C, 20mg Zinc and 3.6mg Iodine.

Instructions for Proper Use:
Before feeding this product, you are advised to seek advice from a Veterinarian or Nutritionist to ensure that background levels of trace elements in feed do not exceed maximum permitted levels per Kg of complete feed. It is advised that other supplementation of Iodine is not used while using this product. A level 50ml scoop provides enough powder for one horse per day. Enough material contained for over 30 feeds.

MonoShield Equine does not contain any ingredients which contravene The Jockey Club, FEI, BSJA or IHRB rules. It is advised to omit yeast from the feed used to administer the supplement or feed one hour before hard feed.
