Mayo Healthcare’s focus has been based on product expansion and market development of research-backed collaborations with Irish, UK and US Agriculture Universities.
Dr Ben Sykes

Ben Sykes currently holds a research position as an Adjunct Associate Professor at The University of Queensland. His research interests focus on GI disease and pharmacology with a particular interest in equine gastric ulcer syndrome.

Rachael has extensive experience in the horse industry for over 30 years, competing at National level in several disciplines & is passionate about delivering positive change to the horses general welfare.
Kirsten Nowak
Veterinary Support
Kirsten graduated as a vet from the University of Veterinary Medicine Hanover, Germany. She has been working with Mayo Healthcare since 2016 and is excited to be part of MonoShield Equine's development. Alongside her work, Kirsten enjoys spending time on the farm and drag hunting with the East Clare Harriers.
