MonoShield Equine Foal Wean Master 250ml

Our US-patented MonoShield Equine technology, specifically formulated to support foals through through the weaning process.

This novel equine feed supplement has been developed by Mayo Healthcare in cooperation with the Microbiology Department of the National University of Ireland (NUIG).

Usage Information

Give 2 x 4ml squirts per foal per day.
Foal Wean Master is to be used to support weaning in Foals.
Use daily post Weaning for up to 30 days.
8ml to be given to foals consuming 3kg or more of complete feed per day.
Each 8ml contains 60mg Vitamin C, 3mg Vitamin B2 and 11.8mg lodine.

It is advised to give orally with the pump or add to a small quantity of yeast free feed once per day.

Instructions for Proper Use

Before feeding this product, you are advised to seek advice from your Veterinarian or Nutritionist to ensure that background levels of trace elements in feed do not exceed maximum permitted levels per Kg of complete feed. It is also advised that other supplementation of Iodine is not used while using this product.

MonoShield Equine Wean Master does not contain any ingredients which contravene The Jockey Club, FEI, BSJA or IHRB rules. 

Feeding Instructions

Yeast-free diets: Product can be fed at regular feeding times with a feed that is yeast-free. Simply top dress feed with 2 x 4ml squirts per foal per day

Yeast based diets: Product should be fed a minimum of one hour before or after regular feeding times. Top dress any yeast-free feed with 2 x 4ml squirts per foal per day.

This product is intended to supplement the diet of horses and is not to be used as a replacement of regular feed.
